Establish a network of like-minded people
Whatever you might be into, you cannot do much of it by yourself. People who are interested in wealth, become wealthy by associating with wealthy people. People who are interested in a craft, develop their craft through interacting and competing with others who pursue the same craft. Someone who is interested in religion, develops his knowledge through interacting with people who are engaged with it. Network with people who share your interests and who can enjoy a relationship with you of mutual benefit. The only relationship worth having is one in which there is reciprocity. These days it is much easier to network with people because there is social media. If you cannot find like minded people in your region, you can find them in other regions. Although, finding them in your region is better because you need that personal connection with people who are physically present. If in the rare event you are unable to find like minded people, then find people you can attempt to convince about your ideas. There’s a chance you might not convince them, but the exchange will nevertheless allow you to grow and also might help you evolve your own ideas and interests.
IT IS WHAT IT IS: Coach De Bruyns’ Philosophy in a Nutshell (eBook)
What is the nature of existence? What does that question even mean? Existence of what? Of who? Let’s try to get to the heart of the matter and aim to describe the nature of nature. In other words, the nature of everything. What is the underlying condition of everything in existence? What is its inherent…
Things are always perfect
People often say that the situation could be better than it is. You probably think so too. That’s part of what makes everything perfect the way that it is. If you didn’t think that things could be better, you wouldn’t work to make it better. If you didn’t work to make it better, then what would you be doing? You would not be improving yourself. If you didn’t have battles to fight, you could not call yourself a warrior. If you did not have bills to pay, you could not call yourself a provider. If you did not have children, you could not call yourself a parent. Most importantly, if you suffered no hardships you’d be characterless and weak. The perfect balance within nature is that carnivores eat herbivores and that the strong outlive the weak. It is perfect that the old and sick die, and that women suffer the pains of labor. It is perfect that people go to war and that they also make peace. It is perfect that some are greedy and that others are charitable. It is perfect that the good are molded through the existence of evil, which they must necessarily oppose. It is perfect that finally it will all come to an end. Anyone who lived for a very long time will tell you that death almost seems welcomed. One of the greatest gifts God gave us is that He hid away the exact time we’ll die. If we knew that, we might live in dread instead of working towards human perfection.
